Moving Closer
Cast a pretty boy and a beautiful girl then add an infatuating song, sums up to a perfect TVC.
P.S. (Sometimes) fairy-tales can happen in reality.

Jetsetter!
No I'm not. March 2, 2012 marks the day I'll first ride an airplane.
3:35 PM is our scheduled departure time from Davao Int'l Airport. Then, three hours and fifteen minutes later, I'm in Changi Int'l Airport.
A day after, I'm in Resorts World Sentosa. :)

I'm very much thankful to my sister for this two-week vacation. Moreover, I'm excited to explore the wonders of Singapore.

Farewell
A special despedida for our friend Aimee. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
Liezel was the cutest. What could have been a heavyhearted get-together was turned into laughter and a merry occasion. She's so adorable and fun.

Heat Wave
Today's weather: Exceptionally scorching hot. Even though it’s summertime, I simply kuh-not forgive this broiling climate. What's more frustrating is the re-emergence of electric power curtailment. This could really become a movie, a sequel from last years’ brownout phenomenon. Before this gets to ecological concerns, these are times when a miracle fancies my thoughts. Snow in the Philippines perhaps? Wishful thinking gets me far.

Odyssey
Four weeks ago I applied for employment in our local hospital. Finally, I received a message inviting me for an orientation. I’ve been really bumming around for quite some time and this news got me wholly excited. Today’s actually the first of my 3-day orientation. No, make that “our” 3-day orientation because I’m with 40 other nurses hopeful for employment.
A number of my batch mates took a detour from the nursing profession on a temporary note. Some became medical representatives, others ventured on modest business opportunities, but most entered call center agencies. I for one thought of becoming a call center agent myself. It’s a good training ground and from what I’ve heard the pay is a worthy price. However, I couldn’t consider being away from home for another while and besides the call to practice nursing without delay rings a bell strongly.
Hospital physical tour, personnel acquaintance, and a lecture of service policies make up the three-day orientation. Now, the cherry on top is an examination which defines it all. So I really have to be listening and should familiarize all the topics. Quite actually it is nerve-racking for me and I never felt this since board exam results. I certainly need to be on the job. I’ve had enough of spending time aimlessly, and thoughts of triviality. This will be my ticket to jump-start the life I envisioned mine to be.
Opportunity hollers at me and must grab it with both hands. I am filled with hopeful anticipation through this journey. Patience is of the essence. Nonetheless, I must put my best foot forward."I certainly need to be on the job ... This will be my ticket to jump-start the life I envisioned mine to be."

Blogging, for the sake of
Dear BlogSpot,
I acknowledge that I’m a capricious blogger. With these recent times, I plainly couldn’t find the spark to awaken my resting inspiration. I certainly apologize to have kept you outdated with what’s in the works with my life. Honestly, nothing exciting and rousing to say the least. Still in any way the wind blows I invariably think of you.
Love,
Mlvnn

Adrenaline rush.
Lake Sebu, from its humble beginnings now emerges as a top tourist destination in the Philippines. A hidden gem rediscovered as it features a bounty of natural wonders. It prides itself with scenic waterfalls, lakes, adorable flora and fauna. Resorts can be found anywhere, and several adventure getaways amidst the conventional way of living.
Lake Sebu also boasts what ought to be as the highest zip line throughout the country. Over a hundred-meter ride across and above its picturesque waterfalls. Hence, I won’t allow myself to be one-upped. Nervous and excited, I was filled with anticipation as I am going to experience it for the very first-time. I brought my camera with me to capture a lifetime memory.
The second we were airborne I outstretched my arms forward and flew like superman. Haha! Flying felt like it’s the amazing thing in the world. Adrenaline rushed through my veins for the first few seconds of the ride. At the same time, a breathtaking imagery greeted me and my sister. Amazing greens and rainbows along the waterfalls welcomed us as we set out. It was one hell of a ride!
